A customer approached WOW Cosmetic Boxes for custom mirror packaging but was unsure about the design direction. They needed help bringing their ideas together and deciding how the finished package should present their product.

We guided them through those choices and produced their custom mirror boxes. The project combined customer support with careful attention to the packaging’s appearance, product placement, and opening experience.

The Challenge: Bringing the Customer’s Ideas Together

The customer’s uncertainty made choosing the packaging challenging. Several elements needed to work together: the outer box, interior presentation, artwork, and branding.

Our role was to help the customer clarify their requirements and move toward a coherent design. A choice about the artwork also affected how prominently the mirror appeared. The interior layout influenced what someone would see when opening the box.

Helping the customer understand those relationships was an important part of the project.

Our Approach: Guidance Through the Design Decisions

We supported the customer as they worked through what they needed from the packaging. Our focus was on bringing the individual choices together into a complete presentation.

Three considerations guided that discussion:

  • Product placement: Giving the mirror a clear position within the package.
  • Visual consistency: Coordinating the box, interior colours, artwork, and branding.
  • Opening experience: Creating an organised presentation that reveals the product clearly.

This support helped the customer move from an uncertain brief toward finished custom packaging.

The Packaging Design

The design shown combines a kraft-style outer box with an ivory interior panel, soft botanical artwork, and a rectangular mirror with a slim gold-coloured frame.

A natural kraft exterior
The brown, mailer-style outer box gives the package a warm, understated appearance. The opening lid and side flaps reveal the interior presentation.

An ivory panel inside the lid
The light panel provides a clear background for the mirror, artwork, and branding. It also visually separates the presentation area from the lower compartment.

Soft botanical artwork
Muted peach flowers and green foliage frame the mirror without covering the surrounding space. The arrangement adds detail while keeping the product easy to recognise.

A gold-framed rectangular mirror
The slim frame defines the mirror’s edges and complements the warm colours of the packaging.

Restrained branding and white paper fill
A small, letter-spaced wordmark sits beneath the mirror. White crinkle-cut paper adds texture to the lower compartment and completes the presentation.

For brands planning their own artwork, our guide to fonts and colours for cosmetic packaging explores how these choices contribute to the overall design.

The Outcome

We helped the customer work through their uncertainty and produced custom boxes for their mirrors.

The project highlights the value of guidance throughout packaging development. Customers may have a product ready while still needing help deciding how to package it. Supporting those decisions is part of turning an initial request into a finished box.

At WOW Cosmetic Boxes, we help customers bring their product, packaging requirements, and design direction together.
